THE TOPSTONE GRAVEL BIKE WITH POWERFUL UPGRADES

Cannondale Topstone gravel bikes are developed right in the cradle of gravel sports in the U.S. On the trails of Connecticut, gravel cyclists are now almost as common as mountain bikers. Today you can race down a smooth trail, and tomorrow head out on a weekend trip with light luggage.

The biggest update has come in the frame, where the rear triangle is now positioned lower on the seat tube. This design improves the vertical shock-absorbing properties of the frame triangle. This is an important factor since the frame and tires are the main determinants of comfort on a gravel bike. Ideal: the rear triangle and fork accommodate tires up to 45 millimeters wide.

Another secret to a good gravel bike is its geometry. On the Topstone, you sit upright enough for safe control and sporty enough to truly accelerate. With the new Topstone, you'll also be ready for any bikepacking adventure. The frame has mounting points for three water bottles and a top tube bag. But that's not all: the newly developed carbon fork is equipped with threaded eyelets for lowrider front bags.

ALUMINUM FRAME CONSTRUCTION WITH A LONG TRADITION

When Cannondale was founded in the 1970s, it was one of the first manufacturers in the world to use aluminum in frame construction. Today, many professional teams continue to trust this unique expertise, both on the road and in MTB.

The Topstone impresses with a beautifully crafted frame that features many of the characteristics of higher-end series. Internal cable guides protect from dirt and accentuate the clean design. The Topstone version 2 comes with GRX 400 components from market leader Shimano.

The 2 x 10-speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes were specifically developed for use on tough gravel tracks. Cannondale has been developing other parts like the handlebars, stem, and seat post in its own laboratories for years. The competition-ready wheelset with Formula hubs and WTB rims is ready for tubeless operation.
