The new 2025 Cannondale Scalpel is an evolution of the iconic cross-country mountain bike designed to deliver exceptional performance on technical trails and in competition. This model incorporates numerous innovations and upgrades that make the bike lighter, stiffer, and more capable than ever.

*UPDATED FRAME DESIGN*

The fully redesigned carbon frame sheds approximately 102 grams compared to previous models. Each tube has been optimized to increase stiffness and responsiveness, resulting in efficient power transfer and improved handling.

*LOCK'R AXLE SYSTEM*

The new expanding axle system locks into the rear triangle, saving weight and increasing stiffness by 10%, while ensuring precise alignment without unnecessary bearing stress.

*ENHANCED GEOMETRY*

With a slacker head tube angle of 66.6 degrees and a lowered bottom bracket height of 33.4 cm, the bike offers improved stability on descents and technical sections. The steeper 75-degree seat tube angle also provides an aggressive and efficient position for climbing and acceleration.

*FLEXPIVOT SUSPENSION SYSTEM*

This unique design eliminates the need for traditional rear wheel bearings, reducing weight and maintenance, while allowing controlled flex in the rear triangle to improve suspension and traction.

*INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING*

The modular internal routing simplifies installation and maintenance. Specially designed inserts hold cables securely in place and prevent rattling, resulting in a clean, minimalist look.
